Word search puzzles are simple and fun! Find all the hidden words in the grid to complete the puzzle. Here's everything you need to know.

Getting Started

1. Click "Start" — The timer begins when you press the Start button.
2. View the word list — The words you need to find are shown on the side of the puzzle.
3. Find and select words — Words can be hidden horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. They may run forwards or backwards.

How to Select a Word

• Desktop: Click on the first letter and drag to the last letter of the word.
• Mobile: Tap and drag from the first letter to the last letter.

When you correctly find a word, it will be highlighted in the grid and crossed off the word list.

Timer & Scoring

Your time is tracked from when you click Start until you find all the words. The faster you complete the puzzle, the better your score for the daily leaderboard.

Leaderboard

If you complete today's puzzle with a top time, you'll be prompted to enter your initials (2–5 characters) to claim your spot on the leaderboard. Each IP can only submit one score per day to keep things fair.

Relaxed Mode

If you just want to enjoy the puzzle without the pressure of the timer, enable Relaxed Mode before starting. Your time won't count toward the leaderboard, but you can still have fun finding words at your own pace.

Tips for Faster Solving

• Start with unique letters: Words with Q, X, Z, or J are often easier to spot first.
• Scan systematically: Go row by row or column by column rather than randomly searching.
• Look for word beginnings: Many words start with common prefixes or distinct letter combinations.
• Check all 8 directions: Words can run left-to-right, right-to-left, top-to-bottom, bottom-to-top, and all four diagonals.
